He is the full litter brother of Woferlow Single Malt, who was imported by me to Italy as a puppy. He joined Marina Ansoldi's team of bassets in October 2005, and has enjoyed a spectacular show career, including World Winner 2006 in Poland. I am indebted to Border Patrol's breeder and owner, Debbie Newman, of the Woferlow Basset hounds for loaning me this lovely young hound, already the winner of one cc in England. He has already produced several litters in England, and one of his sons, Woferlow Samuel Pickwick won his first cc in the UK on Tuesday this week, two days after his father's arrival in Slovenia. We feel sure that Border Patrol will leave his mark in Europe before returning to his breeder in 12 months time.
